Products and quality
What purity level are your peptides?
Above 98 percent by HPLC, and most batches test higher than that. The exact figure for the batch in your vial is on its certificate of analysis, next to the molecular weight and the identity confirmation.
Where do your compounds come from?
Accredited UK and European facilities operating under ISO 17025 conditions using Fmoc solid phase peptide synthesis. Every batch is independently tested before we stock it.
How do I obtain a certificate of analysis?
Email [email protected] with your order number. We send the batch certificate back, usually the same day. Ask for the raw chromatogram and you will get that too.
What does lyophilised mean?
Freeze dried. The compound is frozen under vacuum so all the water sublimes off, leaving a stable white powder that holds up far better in long term storage at minus 20 degrees than a liquid would.
Ordering and payment
What payment methods do you accept?
UK bank transfer and card via a secure payment link issued with your order. Bank details appear at checkout if you pick that option.
Can I place a bulk or wholesale order?
Yes. Ten or more vials of the same compound qualifies for volume pricing. Email [email protected] with what you need.
Is there a minimum order value?
No minimum. Free tracked shipping starts once your basket passes 75 pounds.
Shipping and delivery
How quickly will my order be dispatched?
Order before 12pm on a working day and it goes out the same day. After 12pm, at the weekend or on a bank holiday it ships the next working day. The tracking number reaches your email as soon as the parcel is collected.
Which couriers do you use?
Royal Mail Tracked 24 for everything UK bound, signature on delivery. Standard delivery lands within 1 to 3 working days on mainland UK, 2 to 5 for highlands and islands.
How are compounds packaged?
Plain, tamper evident outer packaging with nothing on the outside naming the contents. Lyophilised peptides are stable at ambient temperature in transit, so most orders ship that way. Cold packs go in only when the compound actually needs them.
Do you ship internationally?
UK only at the moment. If you are at a research institution outside the UK, get in touch and we will see what we can arrange.
Storage and handling
How should I store peptides?
In powder form, minus 20 degrees, dry and dark, good for 12 to 24 months. Once reconstituted, drop it to 4 degrees and use within 28 days. The certificate carries the specific guidance for that compound where it differs.
What is the recommended solvent for reconstitution?
Sterile or bacteriostatic water works for most peptides. Hydrophobic sequences may need a small amount of 0.1 percent acetic acid or DMSO. The certificate states what was used during testing, which is usually the right place to start.
What is your returns policy?
Opened vials cannot be taken back, which is standard for research chemicals. If an order arrives damaged, incomplete or wrong, email [email protected] within 7 days with a photo and your order number and we will sort it.
